St. Helens MC is pleased to report that Munro Bagger has now compleated all the two hundred and eighty-four Munros in the modern list. Recent reports suggest that he may now have discovered a previously unsuspected interest in knitting.
Munro Bagger is a member of St.Helens Mountaineering Club and is attempting to ascend all two hundred and eighty-four mountains in Scotland, that are over three thousand feet high and known as Munros after Sir Hugh Munro who first listed them.
About Munros and those who climb them

All opinions expressed in this blog are those of the individual contributors, and the news editor, and do not constitute the opinion or official policy of the club as a whole.
The St.Helens Mountaineering Club is an association of amateur mountaineers who endeavour to follow all safety procedures when climbing or hill walking, but there will always be an element of risk for which the club can accept no responsibility. Rock climbing, fell-walking and other forms of mountaineering are activities which require a culture of personal responsibility and self-reliance.
The club would also like to draw your attention to the BMC Participation Statement: "The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement."
